COLORmeHAPPY [[How 2 lift your hair lightly]]

So lately I have been seeking wondering if I should go ahead and bleach my hair and apply a rinise ,but then I recalled bleach lengthens natural hair and strips if of moisture [[not such a great idea u will LOSE THE TEXTURE OF UR HAIR]]
So how did I achieve the color I want without it being so harsh on my hair? Peroxide 3-6 %
:-) yes it did just the trick and did not damage my hair and it refresh the color that  I have in right now

this is what happens to your hair when
when you bleach and rinise you WILL get that relaxer effect on you ends and it is not cute,
damaging and
must always keep it mositerzed

DO NOT USE ON RELAXED HAIR, do not use transitioning hair ether,DO NOT USE ON RELAXED HAIR ......OR PROCESSED HAIR ....OR IRRITATED SCALP YOU WILL GO BALD YOU WILL LOSE UR HAIR....

Before you EVER color or lighten your hair with any product always do a strand test....

Q: How to strand test?
A: what you will need check list :

[]a strand of your hair (thumb length)
     []tape
     []4x11 card board
     []your mixed color of choice
Place hair on card board, tape it down at the tip, then brush color onto the hair  ( not the end with the tape on it) wait 15 minutes and see how the strand is developing if it looking not as desired do not proceed and go to the salon ....

Peroxide 3-6 % lifting mix

Here is what you need :
[]spray bottle
[]water
[]conditioner of your choice
[]deep conditioner
[]shower cap
[]towel
[]old t-shirt
[]wide tooth comb
[]salon clips

Step-by-step how to:
Step 1:
shampoo hair and condition (do not scratch you scalp and  again do not SCRATCH YOUR SCALP)

Step 2:
lightly towel dry your hair

Step 3:

Step 4:
place the towel around your neck

step 5:
grab your spray bottle

Step 6:
open your spray bottle head

Step 7:
place the water in your spray bottle at half

Step 8:
then pour you 3-6% hydrogen peroxide in the contains of your bottle

Step 9:
screw the nozzle of the bottle back on and shake

Step 10:
grab your conditioner , wide tooth comb, and salon clips

Step 11:
part your hair in desired sections

Step 12:
condition each section very lightly, comb from ends to roots, and clip

Step 13:
now that your hair is condition you select the section you desire to lighten

Step 14:
grab your bottle of mix, shake and spray

Step 15:
the section you have selected to spray
grab your wide tooth comb and comb from ends to roots and clip

Step 16:
repeat steps 14-15  until all sections are complete

Step 17:
place shower cap on wait 15 minutes

Homemade curling Pudding

two strand twist result with curling pudding
Many of us naturals find it hard to find a product that achieves the look we are looking for (perhaps messy, defined, texted or however else), but many products that say ALL HAIR TYPES OR NATURAL for some reason or another tend to dry out our hair ....there is a solution to this problem that will be address later on Nov 4th 2011.
Likewise, I found much easier during the winter to ROCK THE PROTECTIVE hair styles (braids, twists, extensions, sew ins, genie loc's and much much more.) With  that being said my staple product of choice is Eco styler Gel and Vo5 Conditioners for .
I was natural my whole childhood. Then I could not bear it anymore when I enter high school [[ the am Grown stage...smh]], So I slapped the crack in my hair, [[Perm]], well begged my mum to just do it and I mean begged .So 6 months ago I cut of my locs and let my curly and kinky grow out. As  my hair began to grow out the products I was applying to my hair had to change with the climates I  tend to. Likewise I learned about the pudding from my sista and experimented on my own and this is what I came up with....  Have fun enjoy and post your pics of your finish product .... 'Hotep
